We just had our new disposal installed and we are absolutely amazed at how quiet and smooth it is. We had it installed with a 604 stainless steel Blanco sink and quartz counter tops.
The 604 stainless sink is much heavier and thicker than our previous sink and the quartz tops are also much heavier than our previous laminate tops so this may help some as well to dampen the sound but I think most of the credit has to go to Insinkerator. I got this purifier to go in a room in which I keep kittens that I foster for the local animal shelter. I live in an older home with old plaster throughout the home, and have two cats. The product is a good investment. It makes three different size loaves of bread and comes with an incredible cookbook that is a rare wealth of information as a standalone item but is a great partner with the breadmaker.

I’ve used this daily for 18 months and I’ve never had the reservoir slide out onto the tray. Coffee puck is sometimes wet, sometimes bone dry. I think it has to do with the grind of coffee I use. I don’t think it affects the flavor one way or the other.
Heating element creates hot coffee, and hot steamy milk. Coffee is too hot to drink and I like to let it set for a couple minutes.
Breville 800ESXL Espresso Machine is my daily coffee maker and I use the best beans I can afford and use a hand grinder to grind them. When I’m lazy I’ll pull out the store ground coffee but either way, I get a very good coffee. Continue Reading >>
