I really like this product. It has a lot of functionality. I bought it primarly for the microwave capability; but, thought the other features would come in handy. I find myself using the other features almost as much as the microwave.
One of things that I like best about this oven is that I can make open face tuna melts using the grill function. That is what I missed most about my old toaster oven. I first found out about this pressure cooker when I barrowed a friends to can some veggies! Now I own my own and have for many years. This canner is always dependable. Most pressure cookers require a rubber gasket; with this one you will never get caught with a canner full of jars only to find that your gasket has failed and you are going to have to search the town for the right rubber gasket.

I bought this scale over a year ago, primarily for use in crafts, but I’ve recently taken up cooking in a serious way and it has made its way into the kitchen with me. It’s absolutely fabulous, whatever I’m using it for. The tare feature, in particular, is wonderful, as is the ability to jump from imperial to metric units at will. I’ve been delighted since I first opened the box.

I’ve bought two of these sets before, and they were all great. You get so scared of using plastic tupperware, whether they’re BPA free or not, that glass is the only way to go. The lid is rubber (?) and is microwaveable/dish washer safe. In any case, I try not to place the lids in the microwave/washer if I can help it. So, most of the times the food is sitting only in glass when being heated.
One thing to be wary of though: the company does say that the lids are not spill proof. And, they’re right of course. They form a nice tight fit, but they will spill sauces. Pyrex Storage 10-Piece Set

I ordered this after seeing the movie. I was a little concerned about whether I really wanted the revised edition or try to find an original. I ordered this one, and was so pleased. It has the original instructions and then a note, like with aspic..It has the instructions for using the calf foot, like in the movie “Julie and Julia” and then tells you how to use boxed gelatin instead, since it is readily available now.
