I’ve used this daily for 18 months and I’ve never had the reservoir slide out onto the tray. Coffee puck is sometimes wet, sometimes bone dry. I think it has to do with the grind of coffee I use. I don’t think it affects the flavor one way or the other.
Heating element creates hot coffee, and hot steamy milk. Coffee is too hot to drink and I like to let it set for a couple minutes.
