The 7 1/4 Quart Round French Oven is my first foray into the world of Le Creuset. The quality of the Le Creuset piece was obviously superior to anything the store had for sale.
I have wanted a French oven for a long time and finally got a great deal on one. I just love cooking in it. It is great for throwing a meal together in minutes, stuffing it in the oven and forgetting it for a few hours, then presto, great food! It cooks evenly, cleans up fast and easy, and is so pretty I leave it out on top of the stove.
This stuff is pricey, but worth every penny. I know it will last me a lifetime and I will pass it down in my family!
